Outfitter

Jared Black

Part of a multi-generational legacy in the rafting and outdoor industry. Has a passion and respect for the river and the outdoors that started at an early age. As an outfitter and guide some of his favorite things are working with a team and making memories with others.

Business Manager

Brandon Long

Grew up in Idaho and spent a lot of time around and on the Payette River. Enjoys all things water sports and feels passionate about sharing his love of the outdoors with others. Loves to spend time with his wife and two daughters.

Guide

Julia Black

Also part of a multi-generational legacy. Enjoys making connections with others on the river. Loves all the adventures that come from white water rafting and has a high stoke for life!!!

Before Outdoor Voyagers

We are a family operated company with roots on the Salmon River going back generations. Before Outdoor Voyagers there was R&R Outdoors. R&R Outdoors was owned and operated by Rob and Rex Black for 20 years before retiring from the rafting industry. Outdoor Voyagers is proud to carry on this legacy. "Hi! I'm Rex Black. We've probably met along the trail or river during my many years of Scouting, or as a Forester, Conservationist, or Outdoor Recreation Manager. We have probably worked and played together in camps, forests, mountains, and rivers across this great land of ours. I invite you to Float the Mighty Salmon!!"
